Can't Weekends be longer?

Weekend this week was so lovely. I met up with baby on Friday night at Boon LAY... for dinner and then back to his place for my stayover. Baby was feeling darn tired after his long hrs of sch so we had an early night that night.

I was asked to go for an interview for the AIR SHOW. It was supposed to be at Changi Air BASE (yes... helluva FAR) but was changed to Expo instead. I knew that I was going to be late and thus I took the car keys and drove down to Expo instead. It was a daring ride I proclaim since I had to drive the car from Expo to Town and then to TPY! The journey to TOWN was helluva scary. There were SO MANY CARS.. and horns were heard almost every min. Thank goodness that baby taught me a shorter way to town else.. I will probably die earlier.

Town was kinda BORING since it was like my.. THIRD TIME there this week. I bought NOTHING there and left town after an hr or so. $3.50 for an hr of carpark was a little heart pain (plus another $1 of ERP). Now I can finally understand the amount spend to own a car. Drove down to TPY to have our dinner as baby wanted something light for his throat. This boy here was having a bad sore throat after burning midnight oils for his studies (F.Y.I: its just for his REVISIONs). We went back right after that and I was dead TIRED after the whole road trip. There are times that I loathe driving so much that I wish that darling will be the one driving me instead. I seriously hate some drivers on the road sometimes esp. Malaysian Motorbikes and TAXI DRIVERS!!

Darling was studying all day long for the entire weekends. I kept myself busy with the eeepc to look for a job. Though I was little bored during the intervals but it is much better than couping myself at home! I Miss my weekends.

I didnt take up the job in the end.. sigh!!

YES! I'm damn sian to wait and wait and WAIT liao! Its not that I'm impatient but HEllo... 2 weeks of waiting is abit long lei. I just can't wait to get my ass off to work and I just saw Estee Lauder hiring part timer for a month. I totally got a urge to WORK but the bf thinks I should spend time finding FULL time instead.

The anxiety totally KILLS... everytime the phone rang.. I will get myself prepared that it's gonna be a GOOD news.. UNTIL.. the number appeared to be 'HUBBY' calls.
IF its an unknown number...*WORST* I will give a full of confidence TONE and then erm... oh it's you ah.. YES.. (SIAN HALF... cause the person happens to be my friend).. OR.. it will goes like.. OH.. WRONG NUMBER LARh...!

SEriously... fresh grads people.. IT's SIMPLY not easy to get a job after you have graduated. Loads of things will be stirring in your head... especially when you have NOTHING to worry about everytime u wakes up in the morning.

GOSH- and I feel even WORST when my friends are starting to WORK already! Am I really that useless??

Roaring moments..

I was super duper bored this morning even though I tried to get myself busy searching for jobs in jobsdb. Caught up with Jes online and we decided to HEAD to town again. I think I am starting to understand why TOWN is the best place to go for Tai Tai.. cause there's no other place to think of BESIDES TOWN!

I'm not enjoying the slightest moment of being a Tai tai actually( I understand that I'm not fit to be one yet since there's no MOOLAHS!)even though I am spending money like water! I wore my new top today.. something which I myself thought I would never wear. I bought it at F21 on last friday when I'm out with JES again at 313! F21 at 313 totally rocks socks! My mum love my dressing for the day too.. sigh.. seems like I'm spending more effort on dressing up than finding a job! Oops!!




I bought another DRESS today.. GOODNESS MAMA!! SPend another $50 today on food and necessities! I've to be TRIFTY soon before I bombard my credit card and debit cards and ATM cards!! I NEED TO SAVE!!

I'm lucky enough though to have a dad that is pampering me still. :) Geex!

A little demoralised...

I went for my 3rd interview today. It isnt as bad as I thought it would be. I thought I would performed badly today but it ended quite smoothly. There's much higher chances compared to the rest of the interviews I had went.

However, I'm still faced with the sentance 'We will only be able to inform you till 2 weeks later'. I don't know why but I felt a sudden 'pang' in my heart upon hearing these sentance. I was thinking as I left the office if this would be my last time entering this door. I really love to work in this company even if the expected salary wasn't to my expectation but then I procrastinate again and think hard if Money is really more important than experienced gained? Why can't it be HIGH PAY and GOOD experience in a the line I always wanted to be.

I have always wanted to be in a fashion industry line. Laneige, Shiseido, Estee Lauder, CK, Agnes B, Luxasia and other agencies.. you name it and I've SEND it! Majority of it.. needs EXPERIENCE more than my CERT! I don't even need to show them my certificate to prove anything.. and just one sentance.. and it blew me off! 'Do you have any exp?' Even though... I claimed that I'm WILLING to learn and is a fast learner... wouldn't help me any further.

I will be shutting off this blog very soon. :(

UFO Catcher cheated me $20

It all started on Thursday after my interview with Luxasia. I was feeling all disappointed that I went to try my luck with that UFO CATCHER. Mr Donald Duck dropped into hole after $2 of luck and I thought it was HELL easy. I invested another $2 trying to catch another toy and GOT NOTHING! Then.. Lala came and 3 of shared $4 each trying to catch some toys but.. we ended up catching AIR!!

I told darling abt how happy I was when Mr donald duck dropped into the whole UNEXPECTEDLY... and he was excited to try along as well. SO, on Friday after my very failed interview with CK.. darling decided to bring me out to Junction 8 to try our luck but after $3... I didnt feel the luck aura with me.. thus I stopped.

I was thinking that it shouldnt be that TOUgh to catch another toy.. so we went on a UFO catcher hunt.. to understand the machine better and we even search around the web to know where has the best chances to catch the toys. We even made promises to Lionel Koh to drive us to Marina Square(YES.. LK has a CAR!! A SWIFT SPORTS!!) to try our luck.

SO TODAY, when I was at Junction 8 again with my baby to get his sexy swimming trunks, we went to try our luck again. We were lucky to make friends with the attendent.. and he was really very friendly and nice to help us along. Finally, after $10 worth of investment... WE caught...

MARIE THE CAT! I wasnt really a fan of MARIE actually.. but I really fell in love with the combination of colours it had on her. IT even had a PINK BOW! Darling actually caught it for with together with some help from the attendant of course. WELL... junction 8 UFO catcher isnt really easy to catch these toys I must say. It has only one SCOOPER.. or maybe we are not EXPERIENCED enough.

I promise baby that there wont be anymore catching after Missy Marie! YES... it is taking too much money from the UNEMPLOYED! NO MORE UFO CATCHER!!

OH! To those staying at BISHAN AREA... Junction 8, S11.. has a new Indonesia STall.. selling authentic Indo food.




It comes in a set but the price of it is pretty STEEP! $5.50 for it.. isnt really very worth it. However, they do have a opening store promotion currently! 10 percent off all food. The chicken taste rather delicious and soft.. and the sauce is OooLALA. However, I don't feel the shiokness after finishing every bit of the chicken.. I guess its the SIZE la and the money that I m paying la! Very not worth it! STILL... you guys can go try it out and tell me abt it!

A lighter feel

I had finally a heart to heart talk with darling. He had ensured me that everything is gonna be alright and we are going to be happily together with him mugging for his exams and me, getting a job. I really do hope things will work out as planned and this issue will make us stronger in the future.

Its the first day of school for darling and the first day of BOREDOM for me. Jobstreet, jobsdb and jobscentral had became my very good fren. Jobs nowadays are not easy to find for a degree holder.. I SWEAR! I send out almost 30 applications but none had called me yet. As I thought of giving up, darling had never fail to say things that motivates me to carry on trying. I really dunno how will things go if he were to leave me all alone. On every Saturday, he will read the recruit page before me so that he can inform me on any good company that is employing right after I woke up from my lalaland. He helps me to get all the website links to help me in my job looking process and never fails to 'PUSH' me to try on the good companies. He's unlike my dad and sis who uses mouth to nag instead of helping a little.

Sigh.. am getting so bored now seriously. I need to get a JOB!!

when emotions takes over me

I was rather emo for this weekend. I wouldn't wanna spill too much but I just wish that this emotional thingy will vanished by tomorrow morning. I wouldnt wanna see myself woken up by heartaches. Don't worry people... Lionel Lee is still my bf and I'm still having a good relationship with good 'parents-in-law'.

To you (I'm praying sincerely that this msg will get across to you):
Can't you just leave us alone? Don't you learn from ANY LESSONS? Though I understand the true meaning of 'it takes 2 hands to clap' but if you didnt initiate any shit. NOTHING WOULD OCCUR! I seriously beg u to leave our world of happiness and lead your wonderful life that you proclaimed. Just get out please!!!

Though it may sound a little childish of me to type this passage.. but still.. it did make me feel better. May tomorrow be a better day! :)

Baby had gone to swim

I woke up at 10.30am today.. feeling extreamly COLD! The weather had been rather chilled lately.. especially in the night. I'm living near the reservoir and cold wind can be felt gushing through the window gap.

Called baby right after I woke up and he was on his way for his haircut. He wanted to meet me at the hair saloon to have the delicious laksa for brunch and I obviously agreed since I miss him so much and my tummy is feeling super hungry.

DArling was comtemplating and discussing with me if we should go for a swim despite the very cold weather. I'm not a fan of cold waters.. and therefore disagrees. He was left with no choice.. but to head to the swimming complex ALONE! So, I'm all alone at his place with his mum in the living room. Its a little wierd.. but.. thank goodness i have a whole room all by myself.

I'm waiting for my bf to return home now.. yawns.. time passes so slowly!!

a boring Thursday

I was home all day doing nothing but sending my resumes out to many different companies. Darling play apart in my job findings by searching many job search engines for me. Thank you darling.. u've been the GREATEST!

Looking for a job is rather tedious. Its not easy to look for one that is of my interest and even if there's one.. I might not be of their interest. I really hope that Estee Lauder will call me asap for their marketing position. PLEASE!!! GOD!! FULFIL MY WISHES!! LET ME BE ONE OF THEM!!

I think I have put on a little weight even though the weighing machine still show no changes.
But well... I pretty like it round sometimes. It definitely makes me look younger. Apple red Apple round.. Apple juicy Apply SWEET! Hahaha... (Being very random here)

Its finally friday tmr.. gonna enjoy my very last holiday with baby. sigh.. happy times past darn fast. Alright... gtg!

A very good change..

I finally had the guts to get my hair cut in a bob style. It was still acceptable I guess.. but it does makes me feel a little round like an apple. Still, I feel that I do still look good in short hair.. AEH.. not many chiobu can still look acceptable in Short hair k.. I'm proud that at least I still look presentable.




I had my hair done at Shunji Matsuo AGAIN.. with my chiobu hairdresser named FANNIE! Please look for her okie? With her chio character, I believe she can transform ugly ducklings to pretty princess.

I have been shopping with baby for the past few days. Its a little suprising that HE IS THE ONE grabbing all the purchase and all I did was to LOOK and window shop. Clothes nowadays are getting less and less fascinating. Everywhere I go are like so BLOGSHOP and.. FLowery or LACEY! There's no specialty in it.. and its so not worth it to spent my hard earn moolahs on those repeated clothings.

DArling had bought himself a very wierd pair of slipper. I call it the Curry puff slippers... haha! HE loves that pair so much that we walk to so many places just to find the SUITABLE pair.He finally made do with the black one at TERRA PLANA. -_-!!! THIS IS SO MY BF!!!



AS FOR ME.. after walking ard the whole of orchard getting NOTHING.. I splurge on FOOD instead! I totally forgo the thought of slimming since the anger of NOT getting anything took over the fear of getting fat... SO we ended up eating burger king for dinner and carbonara and cheesecake for SUPPER! HAHAHA!!! Then I splurge on haircare products and a good 1.5hrs of laughter for the movie.. OLD DOG! I swear that the movie is so worth catching for for your weekend blue! DAmn damn hilarous.

Apart from all these nonsense... I had done nothing much. OH.. I have just completed my very chio resume.. Took me so much sweat to complete it!! Bleah.. OFF I go to watch LA PI XIAO XING which darling had bought for me. Ha ha ha.. BEH BEH!

2010 Celebration!!

2010 had finally CAME! How did u guys celebrated ur very special countdown? I had mine in a very low profile way as I decided to shop ard town to look out for any discounts.

The crowd was alright in orchard as everyone had flock to Marina Bay for the countdown. I'm glad that it isnt so pack despite that there were still people taking photos of Xmas lightings. Went to 313 to check out forever 21 but didnt get anything at all! -_-!!!(AS USUAL!!)

Discounts wasnt that fantastic I supposed as I gotten nothing else except a pair of flats which caused me $14.90 at RUBI! Cotton On stuff is like dirt CHEAP.. yet funky but I really hate their system sometimes..
1: Their fitting room are always SO LIMITED knowing that ALOT of people are wanting to try onto their cheap clothings..
2: I really wonder why is it that their AIR CON is like forever not WORKING (esp. Bishan outlet). I can literally FAINT there with the massive crowd.
3: Their plastic bag is like SO damn enormously BIG. 1 big plastic bag for 1 undies.. SUPER FUNNY right? CAn't they just have 2 sizes of plastic bags?
4: Their receipt is like OMGoodness LONG even though its just 1 item that u're getting. Wanting to be part of an eco-friendly society with BIG plastic bags and LONG receipts? HOW TO??
5: They cheated me with their 2 for $20 tank tops which I thought was on discounts until I realised that they are actually considered normal prices even though they are regular items.
6: Very pissed that they wouldnt allow me to change my tank tops without a receipt even though I had the tags on. It isnt my fault of not having a receipt.. that stupid cashier forgot to issue me ANY and she should have stopped me if I have forgotten to get it from them. NOW, I'm stucked with 2 XS tops!

But whatever it is... they seem to be conquering the whole of spore.

Putting that aside, I have something to share with u friends. My bf and I was walking ard ION the other time while we decided to TAKE a good rest and head for our dinner. WE couldnt settle with any since it just didnt look appealing that day to satisfy our taste buds... UNTIL we saw...



WATAMI!! The queue was pretty long when we arrived. It took us approx. 15mins to get seated.. but it was all worth it. Upon entering, we were greeted by a group of attendants with jap cum english welcoming greetings. It was quite embarrassing initially as it was pretty loud. WE thought it would prolly caused us super ALOT for their food charges since they are so enthu about it. When we got to our designated seats, a waitress came and introduced herself as our PERSONAL FOOD ATTENDENT! WAH SEH!! It was damn shocking cause we don't SEE such services in sake or Sushi Teh. Waitresses are mostly seen walking ard with their ear piece as if they are some secret agent or something in other restaurants. I was quite worried then for the charges cause it was pretty TOO MUCH services I am receiving.

Then, we proceed to ordering our food... we called for our PERSONAL ATTENDENT.. and she came. Everything was going fine until.......

SHE KNELT DOWN TO TAKE OUR ORDERS! *faints* WE were so taken aback by her that we forgotten what we should order. We then thought it was due to the height of the seats that they resorted to kneeling down to take our orders but it seems that they are doing to other patrons too with a STANDARDIZED manner. *double faint* NO wonder my Global MArketing teacher taught me that JApanese culture uses more of ACTIONS! NOW I KNOW!!

We ordered....





The food was served in big portion and it definitely taste great. The Salmon was served with very lovely decoration and it was amazingly cheap with 8 pieces of thick SALMON! I felt rather BLOATED after finishing the 8 pieces cause the BF doesnt like raw stuff. -_-!!! LOUSY EATER who doesnt know how to appreciate the REAL STUFF!!

We called for the bill... and was worried that the bill would probably total up to $40 plus.. and to our amazement.. it cost nothing more that $35 with all the GST included. They even average out the cost of 1 person to ease the trouble of dividing the amt. I felt that they were quite thoughtful in having that shown in their receipt.

So.. for the whole of NYE... I had satisfied myself with 2 good meals. 1 was lunch with the family at THai restaurant near my workplace where daddy loves the green curry and baby loving the fried Tang hoon and the other was the JAP restaurant with baby. Ooo... super satisfied with my day that day that I swear I will be going back soon to taste MORE! The feeling at the jap restaurant somehow gave the feel of FUJI restaurant in Bangkok!:)

OK.. so now that I have satisfied my tummy.. its time to get my resolutions FULFILLED for the new yr! :) HAPPY NEW YEAR... FRIENDS!!! Love Love!!
